After sending a simulated spear-phishing email to test your employees, you may want to educate them about phishing. Phish Insight offers landing pages that reveal the warning signs of a phishing email. These are called Educational Pages. It directly tells your employees what they might have missed in the phishing simulation, such as fake email address and fraud hyperlink. This could help boost security awareness in your organization and prevent a possible phishing attack in the future.
Note: Educational page is a beta feature and is currently available for specific English templates only.
There are two (2) ways to use this educational page:
- When creating a simulation campaign. In this option, your employee will automatically see the educational page once they click on the phishing email.
- When setting up a landing page. This option allows your employee to view the educational page after submitting user credentials.
Option A. When creating a simulation campaign
- Log in to Phish Insight.
- Under Campaigns, click New Campaign and select Simulation.
- Fill out the following fields:
- Campaign name
- Campaign type: Simulation
- Recipients
- Language: English
- Choose among the following email templates:
- Outlook Mails On-Hold
- Microsoft Teams Collaboration
- Office365 Account Validation
- Linkedin Connection Request
- SharePoint Group Invite
- Facebook Login Alert
- On Select a landing page section, switch from Use default to From our templates.
- Choose the landing page that matches your selected email template from Step 4.
- Fill out the rest of the fields and click Create campaign.
Once your employee clicked the link on the phishing email, it will automatically redirect to the educational page.
Option B. When setting up a landing page
- Log in to Phish Insight.
- Go to Templates > Landing Pages.
- Choose any landing page you would like to use to capture user credentials, and click Edit.
- Provide a unique name for your new landing page.
- Find the Link to drop-down menu at the bottom of the editor.
- Select from the following educational pages:
- Phished - Outlook Mails On-Hold
- Phished - Microsoft Teams Collaboration
- Phished - Office365 Account Validation
- Phished - Linkedin Connection Request
- Phished - SharePoint Group Invite
- Phished - Facebook Login Alert
- Click Save to my landing pages.
- Go to Campaigns, click New Campaign and select Simulation.
- On Select a landing page section, choose From saved templates.
- Select the landing page you edited in Step 5.
- Fill out the rest of the fields and click Create campaign.
Once your employee clicked the link on the phishing email, he/she will see first the landing page that could capture credentials. If your employee submits user credentials, it will redirect to the educational page.
